Go Kart World

Program Rules & Instructions

Everything school administrators need to know

Welcome to the Go Kart World School Incentive Program! Approved schools — including elementary, middle, and high schools — receive 10 free one-hour wristband certificates per month to award to students for academic achievement, attendance, citizenship, or any program your school runs.
1. How Certificates Are Sent
  • Once your school is approved, you can sign in to the Certificate Portal using the email and password sent to you in your welcome email.
  • From the portal, click "Generate & Send Certificates" to generate your monthly batch of 10 certificates.
  • The system creates a single PDF containing all 10 certificates and emails it to your school's registered email address (certificates@gokartworld.com is the sender).
  • You print the PDF, then distribute the certificates to your students.
Don't see the email? Check your spam/junk folder. Add certificates@gokartworld.com to your safe-senders list to ensure delivery.
2. Unique QR Code & Authenticity
  • Every certificate features a unique ID and a matching QR code.
  • Each QR code is one-time use only — once a certificate is scanned and redeemed at the track, it cannot be used again.
  • Our cashiers scan the QR code at redemption to verify the certificate is authentic and unredeemed.
Photocopies and duplicates will be rejected. Each certificate must be the original printed copy generated by the portal. Sharing a digital copy or photocopying for additional uses is not permitted.
3. 60-Day Expiration
  • Certificates are valid for 60 days from the date they are generated and sent to your email.
  • The expiration date is printed directly on each certificate.
  • Expired certificates cannot be redeemed, no exceptions.
Example
If you generate certificates on April 1, they are valid through May 31. After May 31, those certificates can no longer be redeemed at the track.
Tip: Hand certificates out promptly so students have time to plan their visit before the expiration date.
4. Certificates Do Not Stack Month-to-Month
  • Each school is allotted 10 certificates per month.
  • If you do not generate (print out) certificates in a given month, that month's allotment is forfeited.
  • You cannot accumulate unused months and request 20, 30, or more certificates later.
  • The next month, you simply receive your standard 10 — no carry-over.
Example
A school skips generating in February and March. In April, they can only generate 10 certificates — not 30. The skipped months do not roll over.
5. Adult Supervision Requirement
  • Every student redeeming a certificate must be accompanied by their own adult (18+) at the track — one adult per certificate.
  • This applies to all students — including high school teens. Even if a teen drives themselves to Go Kart World, they must still be accompanied by an adult to redeem a school certificate.
  • The adult does not need to ride, but must be present and responsible for the student during the visit.
  • Students will not be permitted to redeem certificates alone or be dropped off unsupervised.
Examples
  • 1 student with a certificate1 adult required
  • 2 students with certificates2 adults required
  • 3 students with certificates3 adults required
  • 2 siblings with certificates accompanied by only 1 parentNOT permitted — only one certificate may be redeemed
  • A 16-year-old high schooler who drives themselves alone → NOT permitted without an accompanying adult
  • A group of high school teens arriving together without adults → NOT permitted
  • A high school teen with their parent or guardian → OK
Please make this requirement clear to parents and students of all ages when handing out certificates so no one is turned away at the track.
6. Monthly Limit & Generation Window
  • You can generate 10 certificates per generation.
  • You must wait 30 days from your last generation before generating again.
  • The portal will display the next available date if you log in during the waiting period.
  • If you lose the email or need another copy of unredeemed certificates from your latest batch, use the "Re-Send Certificates to Email" button on the portal.
7. Printing Instructions
  • Print double-sided. The PDF contains certificate images on the front pages and Go Kart World business information (tracks, parties, special events) on the back pages.
  • In your printer dialog, choose "Print on both sides" or "Two-sided printing".
  • Use standard letter-size paper. Color printing is preferred for the best presentation.
  • Cut along any guide lines if your PDF includes multiple certificates per page.
Printing double-sided is important — the back page tells students and families about birthday parties, group events, and other things to do at Go Kart World.
8. Filling Out the Certificate
  • Before handing a certificate to a student, it should be filled out with:
    • The student's name
    • What they are being recognized for (e.g., perfect attendance, honor roll, citizenship, reading milestone, etc.)
  • Use a pen and write clearly — this personalizes the award and confirms it was earned.
Example
"Presented to Jamie Rivera for Perfect Attendance — Spring Semester"
Blank or unfilled certificates will still be accepted at the track, but the school's certificate administrator will be notified by email so the issue can be addressed for future batches.
9. How Redemption Works at the Track
  • The student brings the printed certificate to Go Kart World at 21830 Recreation Rd, Carson, CA 90745.
  • A cashier scans the QR code on the certificate.
  • If valid and unredeemed, the certificate is honored for a one-hour wristband for the student.
  • The certificate is marked redeemed in our system and cannot be reused.
  • Each certificate also includes a birthday coupon code printed on the front for an additional bonus offer.
10. Need Help?
